Anna's Way: From Inspiration to Artistry featuring Barry Green, bass

A special presentation of Anna's Way, From Inspiration to Artistry, a 45-minute musical and visual journey of a young bass prodigy and her rediscovery the joy of music after lessons with a Tai Chi master. Featuring faculty artist Barry Green.

Alan Scofield's moving story offers a creative approach to how we listen
to, learn, and play music. This transformational journey is set to
music from China, India, Africa, Brazil, Israel, and America by Tony
Osborne, Francois Rabbath, Arvo Pärt, Astor Piazzolla, Emily Brown, Mary
Knysh, Larry Dunlap, Johann Birkenstock, Frank Proto, and Andres Martin.

The first half of the program features:
Spanish Sounds for an American Friend and Origins and California Duet by Simon Garcia
Ave Maria by Astor Piazzolla (Arr. Andres Martin)
Funkapriccio 4 BG by David Anderson

Allegretto Scherzante by Simon Garcia (set to the short film One A.M. by Charlie Chaplain)
