Choir director Nathaniel Berman leads the UCSC Concert Choir with special guests the UCSC Percussion Ensemble in a performance of Lou Harrison's choral masterwork, an Esperanto translation of the Buddhist Heart Sutra, accompanied by "American Gamelan."
The Choir will also perform music by composers from Harrison's circle including Johanna Beyer and John Cage.
