Santa Cruz Baroque Festival

Santa Cruz Baroque Festival opens their 43rd season on February 6th at 7:30pm at UCSC’s Recital Hall with Baroque ensemble Galileo’s Daughters.

World-famous astrophysicist and SETI founder Frank Drake will narrate Dava Sobel's story of coinciding revolutions in the history of science and music, while animated projections of the universe compliment soprano Sarah Pillow, lutenist Ronn McFarlane (representing Galileo), and gambist Mary Anne Ballard. Tickets available on their website scbaroque.org and at the door.
Baroque Festival offers discounted student tickets for $5, and complimentary admission to Music Department faculty and staff.
