This photo shows one of the many incarnations of Gamelan Swarasanti, pictured
in November 1996 with our friend, teacher, and master musician and dancer I
Nyoman Wenten (seated, wearing the fancy costume). Seated at the far left is our
friend and honorary member of the gamelan, I Made Surya, who has performed topeng
and other dances with us on many occasions, and who occasionally sits in with
the gamelan on ceng-ceng. Linda Burman-Hall, director of Gamelan Swarasanti is
standing at the far right, next to Pak Wenten's brother.
