Classical Music By Computer (1997)

Gamelan Swarasanti is featured on the CD "Classical Music by Computer", playing the piece Mozart In Bali by David Cope/EMI. The piece was composed by David Cope's computer program EMI, slowly changing the controlling database from a Mozart piano concerto to a traditional Balinese gamelan piece (Jaran Sirig) and back again. The result is an intriguing journey from Mozart to Bali and back. The piece is played by a live classical chamber ensemble, Ensemble Nova, and the Balinese Gamelan Angklung Swarasanti. Centaur CRC 2329 (1997)

By Gamelan Swarasanti's sister gamelan, Gamelan Anak Swarasanti:

Gamelan Anak Swarasanti (1998)

Gamelan Anak Swarasanti has produced a self-titled CD of Balinese gamelan music, which features extended arrangements of several of our pieces - Pebaktian, Gilak, Slug, 1941, and Penyuwud - arranged as a continuous mix for a truly hypnotic experience. This CD is self-recorded and self-released, and is only available at Gamelan Anak Swarasanti performances and through the website. Please contact info@anakswarasanti.com for information on how to order copies of this CD.

Gamelan Anak Swarasanti - The Rave Sessions (2002)

Gamelan Anak Swarasanti performed the extended arrangements recorded on their first CD at several Northern California raves, with the gamelan accompanied by electronic musicians. The results were spectacular, and are captured on this CD which was recorded live at two of these raves. The CD is a fascinating and groundbreaking exploration of the fusion of Balinese gamelan and electronic music. This CD is self-recorded and self-released, and is only available at Gamelan Anak Swarasanti performances and through the website. Please contact info@anakswarasanti.com for information on how to order copies of this CD.
