Michael J. Fleming is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and improvisor from Southern California. Much of his recent work is inspired by ephemeral images in nature, and explores and integrates timbres and musical traditions from around the world, creating an illuminating intercultural dialogue through chamber music. As a multi-instrumentalist, he has an avid interest in collaborating and creating new music with musicians and composers of various backgrounds.
