Can I enroll in an ensemble even when I maxed out my credits?

While rare, it is possible for students to petition for a credit overage with their colleges. You can make the case that lessons & ensembles work off of each other, and that students are best benefitted from doing both, if they’re doing one. Since lessons & ensembles are often also a different type of work than normal classes (i.e. lectures/labs), students don’t typically find the extra credit load to be that much extra work. Feel free to CC our undergrad advisor, in your email to your college.

Where can I go for faculty information?

Please review our people page for information on the faculty you are looking for.

I have a permission code to bypass a prerequisite however, I keep receiving an error message when trying to enroll?

Permission numbers should bypass any prerequisites, but sometimes if a student has already added a class to their shopping cart before getting a code the system won’t allow them to enroll. Try removing the course from your cart entirely, and then adding it again with the permission number at the same time.

The course I want to enroll in is asking for a permission number, how can I get one?

If you are seeking a permission number to enroll in a course, please email the faculty member of that course directly – Department Staff are not able to provide students with permission numbers.
