Practice Rooms

Overview

Music Center Practice rooms are provided for music department students, and if available, to the UCSC campus community needing to rehearse on instruments or voice.  During the school year, a sign up sheet is posted on each general practice room (on the first floor of the Music Center).  The practice room may be open on a first come basis, if when you stop by, the rooms are not reserved or being used.  

• Each general practice room has an upright piano or a clavinova available for use.

The Grand Piano, Drum Set, & Percussion practice rooms are restricted to use by current Music Department students enrolled in lessons with one of the associated department piano/drum set/percussion faculty.

• Please note: Practice rooms have very limited hours during the summer.
