Two Orchestras: Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony featuring the UCSC Orchestra and the Pasadena Youth Symphony

The Pasadena Youth Symphony travels to Santa Cruz to join the University Orchestra in a side-by-side performance of the breathtaking and thrilling 4th Symphony of Russia's most famous musical son, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This powerful piece will be performed by more than 130 musicians on the stage of the Music Center Recital Hall, taking every single inch of space. Filling the hall with the gorgeous strains of Tchaikovsky's melodies and orchestration brilliance, this event will be THE musical highlight of the season! Conducted by professor Bruce Kiesling.

Music Faculty/Staff/Declared Music Major/Minor Comp Ticket Info:

Music Dept faculty, staff and declared majors and minors can order/pick up comp tickets by email <music@ucsc.edu>, (831) 459-2292, or in-person from the Music Dept students assistant office (248). If 248 is closed, pick up from Alice or Laura in dept office. Dept office hours: M-F 9AM-12Noon and 1:30PM-4PM.

Orders will be taken until 12PM on Friday before the weekend of the performance. After this, comp tix can be picked up at the door but are not guarenteed. 

Please arrive EARLY to allow for parking ($4) and as seating and ticket sales are first come, first serve.
