Savanna Solian

PhD Student in Cross-Cultural Musicology

Savanna is a 4th year on the cross-cultural musicology Ph.D. track. She has a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Music from the University of California Davis. She is interested in teaching popular music courses specifically centered around rock n’ roll from the 1960’s in America. Savanna’s research focuses on equity and social justice in music curriculum for higher education classrooms particularly for marginalized groups of students. She has been accepted to present research as part of the Beatles Symposium at Liverpool Hope University in March of 2023.
