Barbara Goza Chemers is delighted to be in her first opera, this creative pandemic production. After a 3-decade hiatus, Barbara’s joy in singing was rekindled and sustained by UCSC music faculty members Patrice Maginnis, Michael McGushin, Sheila Willey, and Emily Sinclair, with whom she sings in the UCSC Women’s Club and Temple Beth El choirs. A retired social psychologist, Barbara is grateful to public education in the United States and to the fine music programs therein.
