Jessica is a Santa Cruz native who has been working in theatre for twenty-plus years. She received education both at Cabrillo College and San Francisco State University. She began as a costume technician at her home theatre, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, but later forayed into hair and makeup, primarily. Some of the companies that she’s been fortunate enough to be a part of include Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Marin Theatre Company, The Alley Theatre, Opera San José, San Francisco Opera and Ballet, Cal Shakes, Santa Cruz Shakespeare, and The Jewel Theatre Company. She is thrilled to be working on her third production with the UCSC Music Department! The process of producing this show has obviously been significantly different than what we are all accustomed to. Meeting the challenges of these new circumstances with curiosity, creativity, and bold thinking has been deeply rewarding. She is looking forward to approaching the future of live theatre with a keen eye on innovation and a spirit of adventure!
